Mansifeld Boys Basketball Receive Awards, Ready for Next Season

The Mansfield Varsity Boys Basketball team made some distinct impressions this year. They made it to battle out in Franklin for an all-out slugfest that ended in the last two minutes of the game, losing by just a nose.

Now the team is receiving its well-deserved accolades. Senior Captain Brian Hershman was selected as an MVP and, along with his brother Michael, was selected to the Hockomock Kelly Rex All-Stars.

Rocky DeAndrade was selected as the most improved, and Terry O’Mara and Chris Walsh were awarded the Sportsmanship Awad.

Zach Wisnieski and Gregory Romanko have been selected as next year’s team captains.
