Massachusetts Tax Holiday, Aug. 13 and 14

The weekend of Aug 13-14 is officially a holiday weekend for shoppers looking for a deal. The nickname "Taxachusetts," looses its meaning for a weekend.

The tax holiday will shelve the 6.25 percent levy on most items selling for less than $2,500.
