MedFlight Requested For Mansfield Fall Victim

The person is being airlifted from Mansfield High School.

MANSFIELD, MA — A Medflight was requested in Mansifeld for an injured worker.

Wednesday morning, Mansfield police and fire responded to 16 Erick Rd. for a report of a injured worker. Officers at the scene found a 25-year-old man fading in and out of consciousness and suffering from obvious injuries.

The subject was flown from the Mansfield High School to Rhode Island Hospital. An initial investigation conducted by Mansfield Police Department Detectives and investigators from OSHA revealed the subject fell about 20 feet from scaffolding erected alongside the building. Indications are that the scaffolding may have been compromised leading to the workers fall. The investigation is ongoing by Mansfield police and OSHA officials.
