Memorial Park Slated for Spring Renovation

MANSFIELD, MA — A new playground is coming to Mansfield's Memorial Park this spring.

Megan Crotty of Friends of Memorial Park recently told the Sun Chronicle that GameTime has been picked as the contractor for a $191,000 playground that will be constructed in the spring.

The costs will be covered by donations obtained by the group and $130,000 in capital improvement funds from the town. According to the group's Facebook page, they have $102,000 as of July 1.

The new playground will include Americans with Disabilities Act-complaint swings, a climbing structure, slides, and more.
