Entrepreneurship students make donation to the Corey Shea Memorial Scholarship

Through a grant provided by the Mansfield Education Foundation, Mrs. Prester’s Entrepreneurship students were successful in operating a small business during the winter trimester.  The students pitched their business ideas to classmates, and as a group decided to design and sell Mansfield wristbands.  The students took control of the entire business cycle by designing products, planning the marketing strategy, selling the products, and analyzing the finances.  The students also chose to make a charitable donation to the Corey Shea Memorial Scholarship out of their profits.

The $150 donation was presented to Denise Anderson, Corey Shea’s mother, by Mitch Levine, Andrew Simons, and Steven Dudley-Shipman.

A limited amount of wristbands are still available for purchase for $2 each.  Send a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check made out to "MHS Entrepreneurs" to MHS Entrepreneurs, Mansfield High School, 250 East St, Mansfield, MA, 02048.
