Millis Man Accused of Animal Cruelty in Mansfield
The man admitted to hitting the dog but denied killing her.

A Mills man has been accused of beating a small dog in Mansfield that has gone missing.
Mark Daley, 66, said he hit the dog three or four times with a brush but denied killing the dog during questioning, saying that it ran away according to the Sun Chronicle.
The owner of the dog said that Daley was dropping off roses when he left a door open, allowing the dog to get out.

Daley was released on personal recognizance and is due back in court March 17.
