Morini Gallery Hosts a Multitude of Local Artists

Gallery open until April 23

is presenting the art exhibit Abstractions until April 23.  The exhibit features 35 different local artists from the region with over 70 pieces of abstract art. Glenn Fournier of Morini Gallery directed the placement of the pieces.

Of the 35 artists, three were picked to be heavily featured in the show. Aivars Zandbergs from Franklin won first place with Square Off, Carol Chisholm of Lakeville won with A Resonant Value of Thought and Marilyn Z. Kahn from Sharon won with her piece, Tsunami.

The show was judged by James Musto, formally the owner and operator of James Musto Hair Designs in Mansfield. The gallery has already sold at least four pieces.

Artists in the gallery from Mansfield included Lynda Christiansen, Barbara Gordon, Marilyn Healey, James Moran and Keli Trejo. Honorable Mentions went to Dina Altman of Sharon, Lori Schill of Fall River, Kenneth Salme of Attleboro and Wilson Hunt Jr. of Roslindale.
