Muslim School Carnival

Al-Noor Academy, the 6-12 Muslim private school on Church Street, plans a street carnival in front of the school on Friday, June 20.
The carnival, first of its kind for ANA, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will include for children things like face painting, a dunk tank, and games. Adults can avail themselves of yard sale tables and book stalls, as well as home-cooked Middle Eastern delicacies, especially pastries.
The section of Church Street which fronts the brick school building will be blocked to traffic, by permission of the town.
The public is invited, and highly encouraged to attend. The carnival is an excellent opportunity to learn facts about Islam, and meet some people who practice it.
Questions about the carnival may be directed to Al-Noor by dialing 508-261-7077, and asking for Sister Fatma Abdelwahab.
