New Challengers in Selectmen's Race

MANSFIELD, MA - The race for selectmen will be a contested one this spring.

Board member Olivier Kozlowski will run for another term on the board, with two others looking to become selectmen. School Committee Chairman Michael Trowbridge and Financial Committee Chairman Steve Schoonveld will look to move to a new board.

Selectman Doug Annino accounced earlier this year that he will not run for releection.

Two seats with three-year terms are up for grabs

In the school committee race, incumbents Linda Fernando and Lynn Cavicci are the only two candidates. Also uncontested is Robert H. H. Saquet's bid to remain the town moderator.

Mary Kate Flynn has pulled papers in the Housing Authority race but has not returned them.

The deadline to take out and return papers is March 22.
