Police Log: Arrests for Narcotic Possession
Excerpts from the Mansfield Police Department log.

Wednesday, Aug. 6
At 1:36 a.m., police received a report of a possible drunk driver on Short Street. The vehicle, a white or silver jeep wrangler, was reported to be all over the road and “nearly missing telephone poles.” Officers searched the area, but were unable to find a vehicle matching the description.
At 7:09 a.m. police received an animal complaint requesting animal control regarding a bat in a second floor apartment on George Street.

At 12:45 p.m., police reported a road hazard on Fulton Street regarding a low hanging wire. The wire was coiled up and put out of the way.
At 5:17 p.m., police reported breaking and entering on Pleasant Street. Caller reported when she returned home from work, the house door was open and the knob was damaged. Officers reported forced entry. Jewelry and a beige pillow case was taken, and drawers were gone through.

At 5:51 p.m., David Kinnally, a homeless man, was arrested on a warrant after he was found sleeping in the Hornet’s Nest at Memorial Park on Hope Street by the Mansfield football team. Bail was set at $140.
Thursday, Aug. 7
At 2:04 p.m., police issued a search warrant for a Rumford Square Apartment, 1 Old Colony Way, due to an extensive investigation into narcotic sales at that location. Police arrested Jose A. Eskert, 1 Old Colony Way Apt. no. 7, for drug possession, drug possession to distribute, and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Police also arrested Stephanie Gail Solimine, 18 Briar Lane, for conspiracy to violate drug laws. Police found an amount of Oxycodone with a street value of $2,400. Several types of narcotics and cash were seized.
At 9:00 p.m., Matthew John Kuplast, 23 Jakes Way, was arrested on a warrant at Dunkin Donuts, 45 Chauncy St.
At 9:10 p.m., police reported a larceny at Best Buy, 280 School St., where a black male wearing a black shirt with red stripes, black pants and a possible goatee, took a $1,100 laptop from the store and entered a Silver sedan without state plates that was occupied by another black male.
