Police Log: Car on Train Tracks Lead to Drug Arrest, Assault, and More

February 26
3:19 p.m. - A juvenile was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
8:04 p.m. - A caller reported a vehicle attempting to drive up the train tracks near Middlesex Road. Police were able to locate the vehicle and arrest Scott Dumont, 55, of Manchester. He was charged with operating under the influence of crack cocaine and possession of a Class B drug.

February 27
3:55 p.m. - A summons was issued to a 27-year-old man from Stoughton at Kohl’s for three counts of larceny under $250 by false pretense.

1:56 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on West Street, Daniel McKinney, 25, of Norfolk, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, and a marked lanes violation.
