Police Log: Drug OUI, Warrant Arrest, and More

May 17

3:11 a.m. - Police responded to a suspicious person on Erick Road. When they arrived, James Dobson, 46, was arrested on a warrant.

8:43 a.m. - Joshua Goodwin, 28, of Mansfield, was arrested on a warrant at Citgo on South Main Street.

7:24 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Jewel Street and Nelson Way, Michael Combis, 46, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle in violation of a license restriction, failure to signal, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

May 18

12:42 p.m. - A hit and run on South Main Street was reported. After the vehicle was located, the operator, a 56-year-old male from Norton, received a summons for operating under the influence of drugs, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, a marked lanes violation, and littering from a motor vehicle.

7:39 p.m. - A caller reported an intoxicated male on Franklin Street. Officers were able to locate the 26-year-old male from Mansfield and take him into protective custody.
