Police Log: Erratic Driver, Breaking and Entering, and More
The following is from the Mansfield Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

Aug. 12
1:08 a.m. - A summons was issued to a driver at the intersection of North Main Street and Mansfield Avenue for having an uninsured motor vehicle, an unregistered motor vehicle, and no inspection.
6:57 a.m. - An erratic driver was reported on School Street. Police found the vehicle and advised the operator of the complaint.

7:13 a.m. - A opossum in a home on Highland Avenue was reported.
12:10 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Pratt and Hope Streets was reported.

12:25 p.m. - Larceny at Stop and Shop on Chauncy Street was reported after a male was allegedly seen leaving the store with a carriage full of groceries.
4:37 p.m. - A hit and run car accident was reported near Covidien on Hampshire Street.
8:04 p.m. - Malicious damage to a vehicle over $1,000 was reported on Crocker Street.
10:23 p.m. - A car accident at the intersection of North Main and High Streets was reported.
11:26 p.m. - A possible breaking and entering from earlier in the evening on South Main Street was reported. The reporting party told police that some things were not where she left them.
Aug. 13
1:06 a.m. - Police received a report of a house party with large music on West Street. Once inside, police discovered 36 people, almost all of legal drinking age. Most of the people said they would stay the night due to alcohol consumption. An officer at the scene reported that the alcohol was disposed of and all parties were in for the night.
2:08 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of East Street and Lawndale Road. Police made one arrest and issued one summons. The summons was issued to the operator of the vehicle for operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Carlos Teixeira, 36, of Brockton was arrested on a warrant.
12:36 p.m. - A car accident at Bank of America on North Main Street was reported.
6:08 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident on Chauncy Street was reported.
