Police Log: Hit and Run, Assault, and More

September 18

8:07 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near the S Curves on Route 140, a 24-year-old female from Taunton received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.

11:31 p.m. - A male laying on the sidewalk on Rumford Avenue was reported. The male, a 47-year-old from Sharon, was taken into protective custody.

September 19

2:13 a.m. - A 42-year-old from New Bedford was arrested on Forbes Boulevard and charged with domestic assault and battery.

3:42 p.m. - A 27-year-old from Norton received a summons for assault and battery on a family or household member.

4:53 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Chauncy Street and Highland Avenue, a 37-year-old male from North Attleboro received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

10:50 a.m. - Daniel Tintindo, 32, of Mansfield, was arrested on Henry Street on a warrant.

11:59 a.m. - After a hit and run on West Street, a 51-year-old female from Norton received a summons for leaving the scene of property damage.
