Police Log: July 25- Aug. 1

No Comcast Center shows this week.

July 25

3:18 p.m. Caller reported that the vehicle of her neighbor’s landscaping company  struck her vehicle while it was parked on North Main St.

4:00 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run near the bike path earlier in the morning. No injuries reported.

July 26

6:21 a.m. Lloyd Darrow, 42, of 47 Howe St. was arrested for destruction of property and misdemeanor breaking and entering. The reporting party called in stating that Darrow had broken down the door to her residence on Kerry Dr. Police apprehended him later on Donegal Way.

10:14 p.m. Caller reported what she thought was a gunshot on Williams St., and then found the windshield of her vehicle shot out. Police later determined the shots to have come from a pellet gun or a slingshot. The suspect was thought to be on foot.

 

July 27

7:01 a.m. Caller reported that her jewelry was missing and was possibly taken from her residence during the previous day. The police determined the point of entry to be through the basement.

3:36 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that someone had stolen his laptop from his workplace on Maple St.

6:23 p.m. Caller reported that someone had smashed his back window on his vehicle while parked on Cooper Rd.

9:41 p.m. Rayon Baugh, 17, of 1713 Francis Ave. was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a class D substance (marijuana in this case). Baugh was found selling at the Dunkin Donuts on East St. The buyer was not found.

 

July 28

12:24 Michael Adams, 21, of 171 Ware St. was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.

12:58 p.m. Caller reported that her vehicle was broken into and her pocketbook was stolen while on Walnut St.

2:00 p.m Perry Dimascio II, 20, of 19 Shea Cir. was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. The warrant was in connection with the incident at the Comcast Center during the Tim McGraw concert.

2:04 p.m. Police found a vehicle on 2 Park Row in which the passenger side door had been smashed.

2:28 p.m. Brendan McCulloch, 22, of 373 Willow St. was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. The warrant was in connection with the incident at the Comcast Center during the Tim McGraw concert.

2:49 p.m. James Smith, 31, of 126 Garden St. in Cranston, Ri., was arrested for disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime. The reporting party called police and said that Smith was threatening to cut his or her throat at the Stop and Shop on Chauncy St. Police talked with the Stop and Shop manager, who said that he or she did not see any weapons on Smith.

6:44 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run in the Home Depot parking lot.

10:27 p.m.  Daniel Morizio, 21, of 92 Oak St. was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. The warrant was in connection with the incident at the Comcast Center during the Tim McGraw concert.

 

July 29

9:12 a.m. Shane Dossantos, 20, of 1901 Francis Ave. turned himself in at the Mansfield Police Station after he was made aware of a warrant out for his arrest in connection with the incident at the Comcast Center during the Tim McGraw concert.

 

July 30

12:42 p.m. Reporting party came into the station to report that his vehicle had been broken into while parked at the High School.

 

July 31

9:48 a.m. Caller reported that her mil box had been damaged overnight. All other mailboxes in the area were not damaged.

 

August 1

8:50 a.m. Caller reported several vehicles were broken into during the night on Corbane Dr.

9:08 a.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night on Monahan Ln.

12:19 p.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night while parked on Wexford Dr.

4:09p.m. Jenna Liedtke, 18, of 89 East St. was arrested for domestic assault and battery. Police were alerted to the issue when a neighbor called saying she heard a loud argument between Liedtke and her mother. When police arrived, they observed a physical altercation between the two.
