Police Log: Man Charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest

Thursday, Dec. 25
At 12:25 a.m., a 21-year-old male from Norton was summonsed for operating motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, a marked lanes violation and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle on Route 140.
At 11:15 p.m., police arrested Anthony J. Corso, 26, 91 Central St. Apt. no. 1 of Foxborough, for resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and threat to commit a crime on Oakland Street.

At 11:20 p.m., police arrested Colas N. Corso, 25, 91 Central St. Apt. no. B, for disorderly conduct and simple assault on Oakland Street.

At 1:20 p.m., police reported larceny of Christmas decoration from Old Country Store on Otis Street. Police reported a total of three decorations were stolen at night when the store was closed.
At 3:11 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage in which a vehicle struck a wall next to a building on North Main Street.
Saturday, Dec. 27
At 4:30 a.m., a 23-year-old was summonsed for evading taxi fare on Otis Street.
At 12:28 p.m., police arrested a 24-year-old suspect for assault and battery on a household member on Angelina Lane.
At 12:29 p.m., police reported a possible overdose near Rumford Avenue and West Church Street.
At 7:15 p.m., police put a 25-year-old male into protective custody for drunkenness on Ware Street.
At 10:03 p.m., police arrested an 18 year-old juvenile for domestic assault and battery on two victims on Erick Road.
Sunday, Dec. 28
At 12:23 a.m., police reported a general disturbance on North Main Street in which there was a woman screaming and a man yelling. Police reported it was an intoxicated female who left prior to police arrival.
At 10:15 a.m., police reported an animal complaint of a lost dog on North Main Street.
At 1:29 p.m., police reported larceny of Harley Davidson bed sheets from a dryer at a laundromat on Thomas Street.
At 10:41 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Chauncy Street. Police reported that a vehicle was backing up and came into contact with an unoccupied parked vehicle and caused damage to the other vehicle’s bumper.
