September 22
1:51 a.m. - A person on South Main Street told police that he struck a deer by the Route 495 overpass. The driver was not injured and the deer, who may have had a broken leg, was put down by an officer.
8:42 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Stop and Shop on Chauncy Street. After police arrived, a 31-year-old female from Mansfield received a summons for shoplifting by asportation.

September 24
7:32 p.m. - A 53-year-old from Mansfield was arrested for violating a harassment prevention order.

3:10 p.m. - After a crash on West Street, Lynn Miller, 54, of Plainville, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
9:03 p.m. - A person told police that her house was broken into about a week ago and she thinks she knows who did it. The suspect, a 15-year-old juvenile, received a summons for breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony, larceny over $250, and malicious destruction of property.
11:08 p.m. - A vehicle all over Route 140 was reported. When police located the vehicle, Francisco Gonzalez, 49, of Providence, R.I., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
