Police Log: OUI, Assault, and More

December 20

5:34 p.m. - A 52-year-old from Mansfield was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a knife.

December 21

8:57 p.m. - A caller reported a van circling the buildings around the Home Depot on West Street. When police located the operator, a 46-year-old male from Plainville, he received a summons for operating with a suspended license.

December 23

6:39 a.m. - Arthur Pearson, 47, of Providence R.I., was arrested on Chauncy Street on a warrant.

7:18 a.m. - Police received multiple calls for a hit and run near Bank of America on North Main Street. After the vehicle was located, the driver, a 17-year-old juvenile, received a summons for leaving the scene of property damage and marked lanes violation.

4:46 p.m. - Several callers reported a two-car crash near in the intersection of Route 140 and School Street. One of the drivers, a 30-year-old male from Framingham, received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

December 24

7:36 p.m. - A caller reported an erratic driver approaching Route 140 from School Street. After the vehicle was pulled over, Lisa Polito, 48, of Randolph, was arrested and charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger.
