Police Log: OUI, Breaking and Entering, and More

August 16

12:49 a.m. - An intoxicated person was found at Mansfield Crossing. The person contacted his mom, who picked him up.

1:29 a.m. - After making a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Eastman and East Streets, police arrested and charged Yannick Depina, 27, of Brockton with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, speeding, and a marked lanes violation.

2:12 a.m. - Police received a report of a man yelling and throwing items into a pool on Francis Avenue. When officers arrived, Stephen White, 21, of Mansfield was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a building in the night time for a felony, malicious destruction of property over $250, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct.

4:34 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Stop and Shop on Chauncy Street. While all items taken were given back, the manager told police they wished to press charges. Police arrested and charged Robert Bush, 41, of Canton with his fourth offense of shoplifting by asporation.

10:42 p.m. - A summons was issued at the intersection of Route 140 South and School Street for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having an unregistered motor vehicle.

11:19 p.m. - After making a motor vehicle stop on Eastman Street, police arrested and charged Michael Hemon, 44, of Rockland with operating under the influence of liquor and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger.

A 37-year-old female from New Bedford was taken into protective custody.

A 27-year-old male from Milford was taken into protective custody.

A 28-year-old male from Hopedale was taken into protective custody.

A 19-year-old male from Bellingham was taken into protective custody.

A 20-year-old male from Foxborough was taken into protective custody.

A 20 year-old female from Foxborough was taken into protective custody.

A 29-year-old male from Ansonai, CT was taken into protective custody.

A 33-year-old male from Derry, NH was taken into protective custody.

A 42-year-old male was taken into protective custody.
