Police Log: OUI, Failure to Stop for Police and More

July 24

1:42 p.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported on Evans Circle.

3:24 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Oakland Street by the Chocolate Factory, Lester Valentin, 43, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with failure to stop for police, marked lanes violation, operating a motor vehicle so as to endanger, and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

July 25

  • A 22-year-old male from Plymouth was taken into protective custody.
  • A 25-year-old male from Providence, R.I. was taken into protective custody.
  • A 50-year-old male from Revere was taken into protective custody.
  • A 50-year-old male from Revere was taken into protective custody.
  • A 44-year-old from Brookfield was taken into protective custody.
  • A 33-year-old male from Berlin, N.H. was taken into protective custody.
  • A 44-year-old male from Sandown, N.H. was taken into protective custody.

12:29 a.m. - After two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Chauncey Street, a 26-year-old male from Mansfield received a summons for operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

5:57 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on East Street, a 44-year-old female from Mansfield received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

July 26

12:56 a.m. - Police received a call for a vehicle driving down Route 106 with one tire down to the rim. An attempt to stop the car on East Street was unsuccessful, with the vehicle traveling at 70 miles per hour. After the car pulled into a driveway on Corbane Drive, John Keefe, 19, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, marked lanes violation, failure to stop for police, and speeding.
