Police Log: OUI, Shoplifting, and More

March 22

12:17 a.m. - Police received multiple calls for a two-car crash at the Citgo near South Main Street. After police responded, Patricia Stonne, 55, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger.

3:07 p.m. - Police issued two summons for a shoplifting incident at Kohl’s on School Street. A 19-year-old female from Attleboro was charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise and a 19-year-old female from Pawtucket, R.I. was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise over $100, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and disorderly conduct.

March 23

10:58 a.m. - Two juveniles at Qualters Middle School received summons for assault with a dangerous weapon.

March 24

12:20 p.m. - A vehicle was broken into at Papa Gino’s on School Street.

6:09 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop by Town Hall on South Main Street, a 26-year-old female from New Bedford received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failing to notify the RMV of a name/address change.

March 25

6:44 a.m. - A caller reported two males on Parker Streets wearing black sweatshirts. The caller said they were walking towards South Main Street and were ducking and crouching like they were hiding something. The two males told police they were involved in senior assassination.
