Police Log: Passed Out Driver, Warrant Arrest, and More

October 15

12:46 a.m. - Police received a call concerning a vehicle at the intersection of Route 140 and 106. When the light turned green, the vehicle in front of the caller did not move.

When police arrived, they found a person in the car either sleeping or passed out.

After a field sobriety test, Leivinha Miranda, 39, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, and license not in possession.

October 17

7:10 a.m. - Diane Lahey, 57, of Mansfield was arrested on Rumford Avenue with a warrant.

10:01 a.m. - Brian Packard, 31, of Mansfield, was arrested on Highland Avenue with a warrant.

4:56 p.m. - A caller on Erick Road told police that someone tried to break into her neighbor’s home. Police reported that someone did try to jiggle the back door facing the parking lot.

October 18

1:55 a.m. - A summons was issued to a 53-year-old male from North Attleboro on Copeland Drive for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

7:51 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Oak Street, a summons was issued to a 32-year-old male from Mansfield for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, two number plate violations to conceal ID, having an unregistered motor vehicle, and two counts of receiving stolen property under $250.
