Police Log: Right Town, Wrong State, Breaking and Entering, and More

August 19
1:43 p.m. - A young child running around Francis Avenue using foul language was reported. Police went to the child’s home to verify that someone was watching the child. An officer on the scene reported that the child’s teen brother was home and watching the child.

- A 40-year-old male from Cranston, RI was taken into protective custody.
- Ashley Waite, 19, of Windsor Locks, CT was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and person under 21 possession of liquor.
August 20
1:32 a.m. - A summons was issued for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection sticker at the intersection of Eastman Street and Northridge Road.

1:41 a.m. - A caller reported that her upstairs neighbors were being too loud. After being unable to locate the address, the caller stated during a call back that she lived in Mansfield, Ohio.
8:57 a.m. - Police received a report of a possible breaking and entering at Dream Castles Real Estate on North Main Street.
1:37 p.m. - While serving court papers, police arrested Roger Correia, 49 of Mansfield with a warrant.
August 21
3:30 a.m. - A cat was found on Old Colony Way
8:23 a.m. - Three huskies running loose across Route 140 near Home Depot were reported. Officials were unable to find the huskies during an area check.
3:40 p.m. - A resident on Deer Path Lane reported a group of youths near her house on the bike path. They were described as wearing white t-shirts and black masks. A group of youths were located but they were not believed to be involved.
6:05 p.m. - While making a motor vehicle stop in front of St. Mary’s Church on Pratt Street, a summons was issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having an expired inspection sticker.
7:46 p.m. - Two packages were taken from the doorstep of a home on Oakland Street.
