Police Log: Second OUI, Drug Possession, and More

July 6

1:37 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Fruit Street and Meadow Lane, Matthew Petty, 35, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense), operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, and a marked lanes violation.

8:50 a.m. - A 28-year-old male from Mansfield on West Street received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

July 7

9:05 p.m. - After a car crash near the intersection of Franklin and East Streets, Cindy Sullivan, 48, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

July 8

8:24 a.m. -A 56-year-old male from Mansfield at the intersection of Pratt and Crocker Streets was taken into protective custody.

7:26 p.m. - After police received a report of a male exposing himself from the balcony of a room at the Holiday Inn a 49-year-old male from Norton was taken into protective custody and was charged with possession of a Class B drug.

9:26 p.m. - A 27-year-old from Taunton received a summons for violating an abuse prevention order.

July 9

The following people were taken into custody during the Def Leopard Concert at the Xfinity Center:

• A 37-year-old male from Somerset was taken into protective custody.

1:06 p.m. - Kenneth Matthews, 50, of Mansfield, was arrested on Franklin Street and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and larceny over $250 by false pretense.

9:21 p.m. - A 31-year-old male from Plymouth at CVS on Chauncy Street received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
