August 23
2:05 a.m. - A 24-year-old from East Walpole was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family or household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

8:14 a.m. - A missing sunroof was reported on Francis Avenue.
4:32 p.m. - A caller at Kohl’s on School Street reported a shoplifter at the store. When police responded, April Bell, 52, of Walpole, was arrested on two warrants and charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise.

5:00 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Street and Darby Drive, a 32-year-old from Mansfield received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with suspended registration.
August 25
1:55 p.m. - During a domestic assault investigation, a 39-year-old from Providence, R.I. was arrested on a warrant and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
5:30 p.m. - A 58-year-old from Mansfield received a summons for assault and battery on a family or household member.
August 26
11:17 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Fulton Place, one person was arrested and a second received a summons. Joshua Goodwin, 28, of Mansfield, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to stop for police, and marked lanes violation. A 27-year-old male from North Attleboro received a summons for allowing improper operation of a motor vehicle.
7:35 p.m. - A resident on Van Gemert Drive told police that it looks like that someone tried to break into a box he keeps his checks and jewelry in.
