Police Log: Shoplifting, Disorderly Conduct, and More

July 12
The following people were taken into custody during the Kelly Clarkson concert at the Xfinity Center:
- An 18-year-old female was taken into protective custody

3:39 p.m. - A larceny was reported on West Street.

The following people were taken into custody during the Vans Warped Tour at the Xfinity Center:
- A 26-year-old male from Bridgewater was taken into protective custody.
- A 27-year-old female from Glastonbury, Conn. was taken into protective custody.
- Robert Mahoney, 36, of Rockland, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
12:02 p.m. - Sherry Bateman, 46, of Hardwick, was arrested on a warrant at the Red Roof Inn on Forbes Boulevard.
4:36 p.m. - Dub’s Liquors on Chauncy Street reported a shoplifter who took one beer and left on foot towards the train station. Bar Hesson, 53, homeless, was arrested on a warrant when he was located near the train station and was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
July 15
11:19 p.m. - A caller reported a person who was chasing cars and throwing rocks at the intersection of North Main and Chauncy Streets. The man, a 37-year-old from Mansfield, was taken into protective custody.
July 16
6:37 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street, a 20-year-old male from Worcester received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding in violation of a special regulation.
11:11 a.m. - After police spoke with a female concerning a past case of identity theft, an officer reported that the victim’s mother gave her social security number and personal info to open an account with DirecTV and did not pay the bill. Later, a 46-year-old female from Scituate received a summons for identity fraud and larceny over $250 by false pretense.
