Police Log: Shoplifting, Fraud, and More

April 25

12:54 p.m. - After a crash at the intersection of East and North Main Streets, a driver was cited for a red light violation.

April 27

9:10 a.m. - Kristen Liberty, 35, of Mansfield, was arrested on East Street on a warrant.

7:19 p.m. - A caller at the Sports Authority reported two suspicious males in the store. While no crimes were committed in the store, a 46-year-old male from Norwood received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, having a motor vehicle that didn’t meet RMV safety standards, and not having a license in possession.

April 28

1:32 p.m. - A caller at Kohl’s on School Street reported a male that bought seven Best Buy gift cards from the store. The suspect then went to another register to try to buy some more but the manager declined to let the purchase happen. The suspect, Jose Martinez, 23, of Providence, R.I., was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with credit card fraud over $250.

8:36 p.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of East Street and Lawndale Road, Steven Dennehy, 30, of Mansfield, was arrested on a warrant.

April 29

12:05 p.m. - During traffic enforcement on Elm Street, a 28-year-old male from Attleboro received a summons for operating a vehicle out of class.

4:04 p.m. - A 20-year-old male from Auburn, N.H. at Dub’s Liquors on Chauncy Street received a summons for using a fake RMV document and attempted underage procurement of liquor.

April 30

10:44 a.m. - After a car accident in the parking lot of Honey Dew Donuts on Copeland Drive, Dawn Arcand, 41, of Providence R.I., was arrested on a warrant.

12:50 p.m. - A 20-year-old from Foxborough received a summons at Kohl’s on School Street for shoplifting by asportation.
