Police Log: Shoplifting, Stolen Shoes, and More
The following is from the Mansfield Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

January 15
12:43 a.m. - A summons was issued to a 36-year-old male from Norton at the intersection of School Street and Spring Street for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
7:16 a.m. - A caller on Francis Avenue asked police with assistance in removing two individuals from his apartment. One of the individuals, Nerissa Oliphant, 21, of Brockton, was arrested with a warrant.

11:15 a.m. - Jasey Carney, 33, of Mansfield, was arrested on Oakland Street with a warrant.
4:14 p.m. - While performing a well being check at the Red Roof Inn on Forbes Boulevard, Michael LeBlanc Jr., 27, of Stoughton, was arrested with a warrant.

January 16
1:18 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on School Street, Roy Pizarro, 42, of Providence, RI, was arrested with a warrant.
2:27 p.m. - The reporting party told police that a male just ran out of Kohl’s with a pair of stolen shoes. A second male was detained at lost prevention. When police arrived, Stephen Levy, 29, of Attleboro, and Justin Perry, 26, of Attleboro were arrested. Levy was charged with shoplifting by asportation and Perry was charged with shoplifting over $100 by asportation and disorderly conduct.
January 17
2:31 a.m. - A summons was issued to a 21-year-old male from Mansfield at the intersection of Stearns Avenue and Bonney Lane for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a marked lanes violation, and making an improper turn.
4:28 p.m. - A caller told police that his neighbor on Marshall Avenue told him a grey sedan pulled up and tried to take his dog. Another person in the neighborhood also called police to report that a foxhound and a pocket beagle were missing from a fenced in yard on Fruit Street.
The suspect is a white male with dark hair, operating a Grey Toyota Corolla with a rear spoiler. The operator attempted to coax the dog into his car and when confronted told the neighbor that he was trying to get the dog and return it to its owner.
