Police Log: Stealing Dental Items, OUI Arrest, and More

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

December 7

2:55 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Cottage Street, Colin Cronin, 27, of Somerville was arrested and charged with an OUI liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, failure to stop/yield, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. A 28-year-old male from Hoboken, NJ was taken into protective custody.

10:41 a.m. - A 50-year-old male from Mansfield was issued a summons on West Street for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

4:53 p.m. - A shoplifting incident at CVS on Chauncy Street was reported. The items taken were a bottle of Rogaine, Crest whitening strips and an electric toothbrush.

December 8

2:17 a.m. - A trailer in Home Depot parking lot on West Street was leaking water causing a large puddle of ice. The store manager was notified.

11:41 p.m. - A motor vehicle crashed into Tasty Ray’s on South Main Street. Two passengers were in the car with no injuries. No structural damage was noted from the building inspector.

December 10

2:58 a.m. - A summons was issued to a 26-year-old male from Attleboro on Elm Street for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and not having registration in possession.

12:54 p.m. - The reporting party reported a male in a gray hoodie taking photos of Bank of America on North Main Street. The building was checked and there was no one in the area when police arrived.

12:57 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Giles Place, Perry Scott, 49, of New Bedford, was arrested with four warrants.
