Police Log: Vehicle Break-in, Reckless Operation, and More

June 12

1:03 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Chauncy Street by Perkins Avenue, a 35-year-old male received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.

The following people were taken into police custody during the Dave Matthews Band concert at the Xfinity Center:

  • Fifteen people were taken into protective custody.
  • Charges for possession of a Class B drug were dropped.
  • A 20-year-old from Norwell, was arrested and charged with person under-21 possession of liquor and possess or use of a false or stolen RMV document. The charges were later dismissed in Attleboro District Court.
  • Michael Edmiston, 33, of Kenmore, N.Y., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class C drug.
  • Maxwell Johnson, 20, of Pawtucket, R.I., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • Christian Cooke, 19, of Wrentham, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • A 28-year-old female from Yarmouth received a summons for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and assault and battery on a police officer.

5:46 p.m. - A cell phone stolen from a car in the Wendy’s parking lot on Copeland Drive was reported.

June 14

The following people were taken into police custody during the Wiz Khalifa/Fallout Boy concert at the Xfinity Center:

  • Nine people were taken into protective custody.
  • An 18-year-old male from Needham received a summons for person under-21 possession of alcohol and possession or use of a false or stolen RMV document.
  • Brianne Maher, 19, of Ashland, was arrested and charged with person under-21 possession of liquor.
  • Jason Tarpey, 22, of Burlington, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle in the nighttime for a felony.

12:31 a.m. - A 46-year-old from North Attleboro at the Canoe River Campground on Mill Street was taken into protective custody.

1:45 p.m. - After a car crash on the southbound side of Route 140, a 31-year-old female from Stoughton received a summons for unsafe operation of a motor vehicle and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
