Police Take 52 Into Custody at Summer Jam, Selectmen to Talk Xfinity Center Public Safety Issues

The selectmen are scheduled to discuss public safety issues at the music venue Wednesday night at 7:10 p.m.

Mansfield, MA — 52 people were either taken into protective custody, arrested, or issued a summons during Thursday's JAM'N 94.5 Summer Jam show at the Xfinity Center.

According to the Mansfield Police Log, 33 were taken into protective custody and another 19 were either arrested or issued a summons. There were also at least nine fights and several reports of intoxicated parties that needed medical help, according to the police log.

During the show, the police in Mansfield placed a request for mutual aid from local police departments. Police from Foxborough, Easton, Plainville, Norton, and Attleboro assisted at the show.

On Wednesday night, the selectmen will likely address what was a busy night for public safety officials. At 7:10 p.m., the board is scheduled to address an agenda item titled, "Discussion of Status of Xfinity Center Public Safety Issues."

  • Elizabeth Kamya, 19, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with underage possession of liquor, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery on a police officer.
  • Brian Connelly, 20, of Wenham, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and exhibiting another’s license.
  • Vincent Murphy, 18, of Leicester, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and trespassing
  • Olivia Ihenacho, 19, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and assault.
  • A juvenile was arrested and charged with underage possession of liquor.
  • A juvenile received a summons for larceny under $250 by false pretense.
  • Jonathan Charland, 25, of Albany, N.Y., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and forgery of a document.
  • A juvenile was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
  • Atticus Klass, 18, of Braintree, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.
  • Marisa Garneau, 19, of Plymouth, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
  • Bailey Flaherty, 20, of East Bridgewater, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • A juvenile was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • Lauren Tutuny, 21, of Natick, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • A juvenile received a summons for assault with a dangerous weapon.
  • A 23-year-old male from Milford received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • Michael Brodrick, 24, of Sagamore, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger.
  • During a traffic stop in a lot on South Main Street, a juvenile was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and underage possession of liquor.
