Robinson School Adds New Assistant Principal

Tanna Jango was recently announced as the new assistant principal.

MANSFIELD, MA — There will be a new face greeting students at the Robinson School this September.

Last week, Robinson Elementary School principal Kerri Sankey introduced Tanna Jango as the new assistant principal. She succeeds Tara Boening, who left Mansfield to become a principal at Liberty Elementary School in Braintree.

Jango comes to Mansfield after working as a special education teacher in the Northborough Public Schools. She has over 20 years experience in education, including some as an elementary school teacher.

Jango told the school committee she has taught in a variety of school districts ranging from rural areas to inner-city schools.

“I’m very excited to join the school district. It’s been nothing but a positive experience meeting with the superintendent, Kerri, the teachers, and the students. The atmosphere is just phenomenal there,” Jango said at a recent school committee meeting.
