Rollover Among Morning Crashes In Mansfield

Police have responded to seven crashes, including a mutual aid request on Interstate 495.

MANSFIELD, MA — The snow and poor weather led to a few crashes around town, police said.

Police say there were seven reported accidents between 6 a.m. and noon, including a mutual aid request on Interstate 495 North and a rollover.

Luckily, there have been no serious injuries, with only one minor injury reported.

"MPD Officers continually cite excessive speed for existing road conditions as causation. While the roads are improving, please take your time out there to ensure you reach your destination," Mansfield Police wrote on Facebook.

No one in the crashes required an ambulance transport to the hospital.

The morning weather meant a messy commute for many in the area. The most recent report from the National Weather Service says Mansfield received 5.8 inches of snow.
