UPDATE: Serious Injury Reported in Route 140 Rollover
Three people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Route 140 and Chauncy Street.

MANSFIELD, MA - Three people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash at the intersection of Route 140 and Chauncy Street.
At about 12:05 p.m., police received several 911 calls reporting a rollover crash at the intersection. When they arrived police and fire crews discovered a vehicle that on its side with people trapped inside.

Civilians helped stabilize the vehicle to prevent any further injury to those innside. Crews from Mansfield and Foxboro Fire worked for 30 minutes to stabilize and extricate the injured from the vehicle.
One person was transported to Norwood Hospital with possible serious injuries. Two additional people were transported to Sturdy Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, according to Mansfield police.

The road was closed for a short time, reopening around 1:15 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
