School, Trash Pickup, and More Canceled in Mansfield

With a massive snow storm on the way, school in Mansfield has been canceled.

The Mansfield Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2014.

In addition, all after school activities are cancelled for both Monday and Tuesday.

Around town, cancellation and closing are being announced. Below is a list of closing and cancelations:

• Mansfield Public Schools will be closed though Tuesday night.
• All Mansfield Public Schools events and activities though Tuesday night.
• Town offices will be closed on Tuesday.
• Wednesday’s Mansfield Board of Selectmen Meeting has been canceled.
• Trash/recycling collection on Tuesday and Wednesday this week have been canceled. Tuesday’s trash collection will be on Thursday with more updates expected.

A downtown parking ban is now in effect in Mansfield. Residents are encouraged to use the public parking lots if necessary.
