Selectmen Give ok to North Main Street Traffic Plan

The selectmen have approved a plan that would attempt to fix the traffic pattern on North Main Street north of Chauncy Street.

The approved plan would turn Oakland Street into a two-way street, create 46 angled parking spaces along Mansfield Avenue, 19 spaces on the west side of North Main Street, and a right-angle turn at the intersection of Mansfield Avenue and Oakland Street according to the Sun Chronicle.

Prior to the meeting, the plan was approved by the Planning Board.
