January 4

7:06 p.m. - A contractor on Chauncy Street told police that someone stole a town snowblower and attempted to pick a fight with him. The suspects were located and summons were issued to a 29-year-old from Mansfield for receiving stolen property worth more than $250 and assault and battery and a 29-year-old from Mansfield for receiving stolen property worth more than $250.

January 6

2:21 a.m. - A 28-year-old involved in a domestic disturbance was issued a summons for malicious destruction of property worth more than $250.

10:56 a.m. - A 54-year-old was issued a summons for assault and battery on a family/household member.

January 7

1:47 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Gloria Drive, a 36-year-old from Mansfield was ossied a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

January 8

10:59 a.m. - Sophia Charite, 29, of Mansfield, was arrested on Francis Avenue on a warrant.

2:34 p.m. - Patrick Magyar, 48, of Mansfield, was arrested at Kohl’s at Mansfield Crossing on School Street and charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise and unlawful distribution/possession/deactivation/removal of a theft detection device.
