Sign-ups have begun for Easton Children’s Theatre’s summer program. The group is limited to 30 kids, minimum age 9 from any town. Each participant will have a speaking and singing role in the full length musical, “KRAZY KAMP.”
The program runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, from Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 24. Performances will be held on July 24 and 25 at Easton Middle School. Participants can miss up to three classes as long as it is not the last week before the shows.
In addition to rehearsing for the musical, participants will learn a lot about acting and also have lots of fun playing games and socializing. ECT Summer Program offers an excellent opportunity to study the craft of acting and a chance to have personalized voice training and movement instruction in a relaxed, low pressure environment. Because it is a community theatre, the cost of the program is very reasonable.

The musical comedy the group will be working on this summer, “KRAZY KAMP,” is about a summer camp where everything that could go wrong does go wrong. The trouble begins when the slovenly male campers from Camp John Smith are temporary guests of the upscale ladies at Camp Pocahontas. There are a number of uninvited guests who confuse matters even more. This hilarious comedy has lots of fun roles for young actors.
