Stolen Packages, Drug Possession: Mansfield Police Log

December 9

9:03 a.m. - A 45-year-old from Taunton on West Street near Union Street was issued a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered vehicle.

12:40 p.m. - A 911 caller reported a mugging outside of the contractor’s entrance to Home Depot on West Street. One of the involved parties, identified as Luis Fuentes, 41, of Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested on a warrant.

5:29 p.m. - A caller on West Street reported a woman slumped over the steering wheel of a parked vehicle at Staples on West Street. The woman, a 51-year-old from Mansfield, was issued a summons for possession of Class A and E drugs.

December 10

10:37 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Route 140 near West Street, a 50-year-old from Mansfield was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

1:27 a.m. - Following a single-car crash on Gilbert Street, Edward Kane III, 54, of Norton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, and possession of an open container of alcohol.

December 12

4:46 p.m. - Michael Driscoll, 23, of Foxborough, was arrested at the police station on a warrant.

9:08 p.m. - A caller on East Street reported a stolen package from their front doorstep.
