A Summer Musical for the Whole Family

ECT production of 'Krazy Kamp' on stage July 24–25

Easton Children’s Theatre will be performing the family musical “Krazy Kamp” on Friday, July 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 25 at 7 p.m. Both performances will be in the air conditioned auditorium in the Easton Middle School, 100 Columbus Ave.

This fast-paced musical comedy is about the residents of two summer camps on the banks of lovely Lake Lookeeloo. The trouble begins when the slovenly male campers from Camp John Smith become the guests of the upscale ladies at Camp Pocahontas. There are a number of uninvited guests that add to the confusion and the comedy.

The show features Nick Williams as Adam, the head counselor for the boys camp and Hannah Clifford as his counterpoint at Camp Pocahontas. Brendan Shanahan plays Adam’s neurotic side-kick, and Julia Hazel plays the girls’ camp co-counselor. Danielle Geary appears as the old-school style counselor Hildegard, with Christina Beatty as Vivian Vandersnap, who plots to expose the chaos at Camp Pocahontas to the owner, Misses Thistlemist, played by Nicole Geary.
