An appeal from a convicted murdered who has attempted to obtain a taxpayer-funded sex-reassignment surgery in prison will not be heard by the Supreme Court.
The country’s highest court has rejected the appeal from former Mansfield resident Michelle Kosilek, who was born as Robert Kosilek according to the Boston Globe.
The ex-resident has spent years fighting for the procedure she says is needed.
