Taunton Man In Mansfield Hit and Run Charged With Drunk Driving

A Taunton man faces multiple charges after he allegedly hit a vehicle and drove away Sunday night.

Ryan E. Lynch, 37 was arraigned on Monday in Attleboro District Court and pleaded innocent to drunk driving, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, and driving to endanger according to the Sun Chronicle.

During Sunday evening, police received a 911 call from a woman reporting she was hit by another vehicle at the intersection of Route 140 and West Street in Mansfield before turning left on to Route 106.

At around 8:15 p.m. police located a vehicle that matched the description given while entering Copeland Drive from Wood Avenue.

Police said that no one was injured during the hit and run.

Lynch’s case was continued to Jan. 5.
