Texting While Driving Blamed For Rollover Crash: Mansfield Police

A woman using her phone while driving caused a vehicle rollover in Mansfield Friday morning, police said.

MANSFIELD, MA — A woman using her phone while driving caused a vehicle rollover in Mansfield Friday morning, police said.

At about 9:54 a.m., police received several 911 calls for a crash and rollover on School Street. At scene, officer and firefighters found a vehicle resting on its side against another vehicle in a driveway. The operator of the car was able to get out on her own and was uninjured.

Police say the vehicle left the road, struck a parked car, and rolled into a driveway, coming to a rest against a parked vehicle.

The driver, a 20-year-old Mansfield resident, was cited for impeded operation - texting while driving.
