Third OUI, Assault, and More: Mansfield Police Log

April 3

10:18 a.m. - During a domestic disturbance, a 16-year-old received a summons for assault and battery on a family or household member.

6:41 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Chauncy Street, Lilian Beatrice, 50, of Taunton, was arrested and charged with operating with a suspended license, subsequent offense and refusing to identify self.

April 5

5:32 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Chauncy Street, a 50-year-old from Mansfield received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

April 6

1:09 a.m. - During a traffic stop on South Main Street, Robert Benway II, 26, of Norton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, and speeding.

April 7

2:28 p.m. - Easton police informed Mansfield police of an erratic driver coming into the town. Police located the vehicle on Pratt Street. The driver, Christopher Williams, 47, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, third offense; operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger; and marked lanes violation.

10:55 p.m. - A 33-year-old was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family/household member.
