April 20
12:19 p.m. - A 49-year-old received a summons for violating an abuse prevention order.
2:06 p.m. - A caller on School Street reported a shoplifting in process. The suspect, Anthony Ortiz, 41, of Orlando, Florida, was detained by store security and later arrested. He was charged with shoplifting by asportation.

April 21
7:00 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Chauncy Street near Perkins Avenue, a 70-year-old from Mansfield received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

10:19 p.m. - A caller on Oxford Road told police that all four tires were stolen from his car.
April 23
1:29 a.m. - After police found a 51-year-old from Mansfield slumped behind the wheel, the man was taken into protective custody.
10:51 a.m. - Following a hit-and-run on Hampshire Street, an 18-year-old from Taunton received a summons for leaving the scene of property damage.
April 27
11:29 a.m. - A caller on School Street reported a shoplifting in progress. Police took out summons on a 36-year-old Franklin resident for shoplifting by asportation, third offense and malicious destruction of property under $250. A 42-year-old Norton woman was issued a summons for shoplifting by asportation.
10:21 p.m. - A 54-year-old received a summons for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a family/household member.
