Over $10,000, Drugs Recovered In Mansfield Arrests

A traffic stop took police to a hotel room, where they allegedly recovered large sums of cash and drugs.

MANSFIELD, MA — Over $10,000 and a substantial amount of drugs were recovered by police Saturday.

At 11:22 a.m., officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man in the parking lot near Kyoto Steak House & Bar at 242 Chauncy St. At the scene, police found that the man in the vehicle, identified as 26-year-old Kyle M. Laramee of Falmouth, was awake and conscious. Following an investigation, he was arrested and charged with possession of unlawful narcotics.

The police investigation continued at Laramee's room at the Red Roof Inn Boston – Mansfield/Foxboro at 60 Forbes Blvd. After obtaining a search warrant, officers allegedly found large sums of cash and illegal drugs. The search led to the arrest of 28-year-old Patrick K. Berg of North Attleboro, who was in the room at the time of the search.

Both men are being held without bail at the Bristol County House of Corrections.

Detective Sgt. Crosman and Detective Boldrighini assisted with the search.

Kyle M. Laramee, 26, of Falmouth

  • Trafficking fentanyl
  • Trafficking cocaine
  • Possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute
  • Possession of a Class E drug with intent to distribute
  • Possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute
  • Conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws

Patrick K. Berg, 28 of North Attleboro

  • Trafficking fentanyl
  • Possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute
  • Violation of controlled substance laws
