MANSFIELD, MA — Three men face drug charges after a tip led police to an alleged drug deal in the downtown area.
Abraham L. Soares, 24, of Taunton; Jacob C. Charette, 22, of Mansfield, and Andrew J. Anastos, 24, of Foxborough, pleaded not guilty to various drug Wednesday in Attleboro District Court, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a tip for drug activity in a Chevrolet Suburban parked behind a business on North Main Street. Police say the drugs were packaged for sale. In addition to the drugs, a scale, cell phones, and $3,885 in cash were confiscated.

Charette and Anastos are free on their own recognizance and Soares was ordered held on $250 cash bail.
All three are due back in court next month.
