Three Injured In Mansfield Crash

MANSFIELD, MA — A crash in the middle of traffic heading to the Xfinity Center and Cape Cod resulted in injuries to three.

At about 5:12 p.m., Mansfield fire responded to a crash on Interstate 495 South near the South Main Street overpass. Firefighters said that it was difficult getting to the crash due to the traffic.

At the scene, responders found multiple vehicles spread across three lanes of traffic.

Three people were injured. They were transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Norton Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police assisted at the scene.
