Town Meeting Says Yes to Pot Moratorium, No To Special Permit For Fast Food Restaurant
Mansfield held their annual town meeting Tuesday night.

MANSFIELD, MA — Voters in Mansfield are saying "slow down" when it comes to recreational marijuana.
Residents at the Annual Town Meeting approved a moratorium on the recently legalized drug which will last though November 2018. Planning Board Chairman Thomas French said the moratorium is needed because the board needs time to decide how to regulate dispensaries under their zoning by-laws, according to the Sun Chronicle.
The vote does not affect private use or medical marijuana.
