The veterans of foreign wars has an essay competition for grades 6-8 patriots pen this years theme is THE AMERICA I BELIEVE IN 300-400 word essay. Students begin at local post then winner go to district and the district winner will go to state final .Each year more than 125,000 students participate .The national winner receives an all-expence this to Washington d.c.
